Terms of Business.
These Terms of Business set out the terms and conditions under which we conduct our business. By engaging with Vero Finance Limited (company number 13885147), you agree to these terms.
About Us
Vero Finance Limited is an independent commercial finance brokerage, specialising in unsecured business loans and asset finance for limited companies. We operate with a panel of lenders from whom we may receive commission based on either a fixed fee or a rate-to-risk model. Vero Finance Limited is a credit broker and not a lender.
Our Services
We offer services including, but not limited to:
- Arranging finance with a funder after you have agreed the cost and funder’s charges (or the basis of such costs if they cannot be determined in advance).
- Introducing you to suitable lenders based on your business requirements.
- Assisting with loan applications and facilitating communication with lenders.
We are not directly linked to any of our lending panel members. We recognise the importance of allowing customers to shop around for credit and explore alternative sources of finance. Some services we provide may not be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Where this applies, we will notify you in advance.
Quotations
Any quotations we provide are based on information supplied by lenders. The lender reserves the right to amend or decline these quotes upon receipt of the full application. Lenders may conduct both soft and hard credit searches as part of the approval process. Full details of credit checks will be available in the lender’s privacy notice or terms and conditions.
Our Remuneration
Vero Finance receives commission from lenders for introducing clients. This does not affect the cost of borrowing. You have the right to request details of any commission received in relation to your finance arrangement at any time.
Conflicts of Interest
If Vero Finance or any of its directors has a material interest in any transaction, we will notify you of this conflict before proceeding and obtain your consent. A copy of our Conflicts of Interest Policy is available upon request.
Treating You Fairly
Vero Finance is committed to treating customers fairly. This means we will:
- Conduct our business with due skill, care, and integrity.
- Ensure our recommendations are based on your best interests.
- Be transparent about our remuneration and any relevant conflicts of interest.
- Handle any complaints independently and fairly.
- Maintain confidentiality in all dealings.
Complaints Procedure
If you wish to make a complaint, please contact us in writing at: Vero Finance, [Your Business Address] or via email at [Your Contact Email].
Our internal complaints procedure is available upon request. While we are not currently regulated by the FCA, we will handle complaints in line with industry best practices.
Your Responsibilities
To enable us to fulfil our obligations, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete information as requested.
- Read all documentation provided and raise any concerns before proceeding.
- Comply with the terms and conditions of any agreement arranged through us.
Data Protection and Confidentiality
Vero Finance complies with UK GDPR and data protection regulations. Information provided by you will be used solely to arrange finance and liaise with lenders.
Lenders may conduct credit searches on you and, where applicable, directors or partners of your business. Full details of how your information will be used are available in the lender’s terms and conditions.
We are required to verify your identity in accordance with the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA) and Money Laundering Regulations. If you wish to request access to your data, please contact us in writing.
